F visa for students in America

F visa in the United States of America is provided to the students who want to enter country to study. It is a non-immigrant issued to the foreign nationals, so that they can attend classes in America. These classes are related to academic studies in various subjects and language training. F-1 visas are issued by U.S. embassies and consulates outside the nation.

There are three types of F visa:

F-1: It is issued to the students who will attend school or university in America full time.

F-2: This visa is allowed to the dependents of F-1 visa holders. These dependents include spouses and children.

F-3: It is issued to border commuters. They live in their home country while studying at a school in the America. It is only for the Mexican or Canadian nationals, whether they study full time or part time.

Students who are granted F-1 visa must be able to support themselves while living in US. During the stay, their options of legal employment are very limited. They are not permitted to work in country without getting authorization from US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
